The term LGBTQ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning, which refers to a community of people who have non-heterosexual orientations and/or gender identities.

What is a scrap fest and why it should be banned?
Scrapfest is a Canada-origin LGBTQ event hosted by a Canadian-Pakistani musician Urvah Khan and this year, the festival is all set to take place in Karachi.
In 2017, Urvah Khan announced her return to Pakistan with a new live music series; ‘ScrapFest‘. In her old YouTube video, Urvah said that Scrapfest will be the first female-fronted LGBTQ2-friendly rock festival.
This year, the event will take place in Karachi on February 4 featuring “trans and underground performers”.
According to reports, Scrap fest Karachi was co-funded by the German Consulate (Vice) and was attended by a German consular who ended up in the middle of a harassment investigation and ended up being suspended.
As this news circulated online, netizens strongly condemned the festival which is promoting LGBTQ in Pakistan, and demanded to ban of such events as they are against Islamic values. (https://www.dialoguepakistan.com/)
As Pakistani and Muslim, we must oppose all the acts in our country against Islam. The story of the people of Lut (also known as Lot) is mentioned in several verses in the Quran. According to the Islamic scripture, Lut was a prophet of God who was sent to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, who were engaging in immoral behavior, including homosexuality.
In the Quran, the punishment of the people of Lut is described as being caused by their disobedience to God and their engagement in sinful acts, including homosexuality. The verses state that the people of Lut rejected the message and warnings of the prophet and persisted in their immoral behavior, ultimately leading to their destruction by God. In Quran, the punishment of the people of Lut is described as a destructive rain that was sent down upon them by God.
And “remember” when Lut scolded “the men of” his people, saying, “Do you commit a shameful deed that no man has ever done before? You lust after men instead of women! You are certainly transgressors.” But his people’s only response was to say, “Expel them from your land! They are a people who wish to remain chaste!” So, we saved him and his family except for his wife, who was one of the doomed. We poured upon them a rain “of brimstone”. See what was the end of the wicked!
Narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas: "The Prophet said: 'If you find anyone doing as Lot's people did, kill the one who does it, and the one to whom it is done'."
It was narrated that Jabir: "The Prophet said: 'There is nothing I fear for my followers more than the deed of the people of Lot.'"
In light of these verses and hadiths, it is clear that the act of LGBTQ is prohibited in Islam so being a Muslim here comes our duty to request the higher authorities to ban this scrap fest in Pakistan and save our people from the sin which was committed by qoum e lut.
It should be banned 100% Government should take strict action on it
Stop this in pakistan
